Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Membership – Styrk Akson
§ 1 Membership
A membership is personal and may not be used by or transferred to others. In case of doubt, Styrk reserves the right to request identification. Any changes to personal information such as name, address, email, phone number, or bank account must be reported to Styrk via email.
§ 2 Membership Terms
Styrk reserves the right to change membership terms, prices, and offered services with 30 days’ notice. Changes will be communicated via email and/or posted in the center. Since membership terms can differ slightly depending on your company’s agreement, we recommend reaching out to your employer for details on your specific terms.
Membership fees are paid in advance, either monthly via automatic card payment or by separate agreement. In the event of non-payment, Styrk reserves the right to charge reminder fees and pursue collection through debt recovery.
§ 3 Duration / Membership
For PBS/Stripe/DIBS agreements, the membership is ongoing and continues until terminated by either party in accordance with §4.
Cash memberships cannot be terminated early and will automatically expire at the end of the prepaid period. Regardless of the reason, no full or partial refund is given for prepaid cash memberships.
§ 4 Termination
Cash memberships cannot be terminated during the agreed period.
Termination of membership must be made in writing (by email or in person). The notice period is the current month plus one month, meaning that termination takes effect at the end of the following month after the month in which notice is given.
§ 5 Group Training, Personal Training, and Cancellations
Styrk cannot guarantee available spots in classes, as they are filled on a “first come, first served” basis.
Registration for group training is done through our booking system. Cancellations must be made no later than 2 hours before the scheduled class time. A no-show without timely cancellation will incur a fee of DKK 50 per incident, which will be automatically charged with the next membership payment. Repeated no-shows may result in temporary exclusion from group classes or booking privileges.
Cancellations of personal training sessions must be made directly to the trainer no later than 12:00 (noon) the day before the scheduled session. Late cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
§ 6 Liability
All training is at your own risk. As a member of Styrk, you are responsible for ensuring that your health condition permits participation. Styrk is not liable for personal injuries resulting from accidents in the center. Danish tort law applies in all other respects.
Styrk is also not liable for theft of personal belongings. It is recommended to use the lockers provided for storage of valuables.
§ 7 Membership Hold (Pause)
Memberships may be temporarily paused upon written agreement. An administration fee of DKK 50 applies. A hold period must be at least 2 weeks in duration.
§ 8 Class Offering
Styrk reserves the right to continuously adjust the number and type of classes offered. The number of classes is continuously aligned with demand and seasonal variation.
§ 9 Right of Withdrawal
When purchasing online, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, if you choose a start date within the 14-day period, the right of withdrawal lapses as of the start date.
§ 10 Receipt
A receipt for the purchase will be sent to the email address provided. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all entered information is correct.
§ 11 Subscription Payment Requirements
Before a subscription payment can be processed, the card information must match the PBS card database. The card must be active and capable of processing the subscription amount. The card used must support online transactions.
§ 12 Updating Card Information
Card details can be updated by logging into the online booking system and selecting “User Profile” – “Authorize Payment Card”. Card information may also be updated or deleted by contacting Styrk. The member is always responsible for ensuring card data is up to date. Failure to do so may result in the membership being deactivated or terminated without notice.
§ 13 House Rules
The member agrees to comply with the center’s house rules, which are posted in the facility and on our website. Violation of these rules may result in expulsion or termination of membership.
§ 14 Personal Data
All personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
